Client-side QR code generator. Built with Rust (compiled to WebAssembly) and a plain HTML/CSS/JS frontend. Nothing leaves the browser.

How it works

A single Rust function (generate_qr) uses the qrcode crate to produce an SVG string. It's compiled to WASM with wasm-bindgen and called directly from JavaScript. The page respects prefers-color-scheme for dark/light mode, adjusting QR colors to match.

Usage

Type or paste text into the input field to generate a QR code in real time.

You can also link directly to a QR code with a query parameter:

Building

Requires wasm-pack:

wasm-pack build --target web --release

Then serve the project root with any static file server (e.g. python3 -m http.server).
