It would be so much fun to play in handheld mode!

first. It's the thing most people asking about this project are actually blocked
on, and until it's done I'd only be spreading myself across two ports and
finishing neither.

After that, maybe. I do own a Switch, so it isn't a platform I'd be guessing
at — which is more than I can say for most of the requests I get. That's genuinely
where it stands: a possibility once Windows is out of the way, not a plan with a
date on it. I'd rather tell you "maybe later" now than promise something and miss
it.

One thing worth knowing whichever way it goes: you need your own disc image of
the game. That's what makes this legal to share at all — the recompiled code is
built from your copy — so no port removes that step.

That was the thing I said had to land first, so the honest answer on a Switch port is now what I said it would be at this point: a possibility, not a plan, and still no date. Nothing has changed about the difficulty — only that the thing ahead of it in the queue is done.
