isetbioprf is the starting point for an image-computable population receptive field (pRF)
model that includes an ISETBio frontend.
This initial implementation is based on Nicolas Cottaris' retinal ganglion cell (RGC) framework and currently targets one class of RGC outputs as the retinal stage.
As the implementation advances, the modeled responses will be transformed into:
- predicted fMRI signals
- pRF estimates
The roadmap also includes purely cortical contributions in addition to retina-driven components.
