How to download yt songs?

The software is really cool but I can't somehow download. It says yt-dlp is missing and there is no instructions to install yt-dlp, I searched on google and downloaded the binary and put it in the same folder as the app and tried it out with no success.

I also added it to my PATH (yt-dlp)

Also tried it with pip install

@ReaperMaga i will try to help you, can you please tell me what os you are using and what version etc...
im going to assume you are using debian/ubuntu
on those you can
sudo apt install yt-dlp
should work after that

If you are on Windows 10 or 11, you can use winget install yt-dlp
