symfony/dependency-injection 7.4 deprecates XML service configuration and Symfony 8 removes it. http-cache-bundle 3.3 ships PHP configuration and allows Symfony 8; http-cache 3.1.2 is the first library release allowing Symfony 8. The old floors (
^3.1.2bundle,^3.1library) still allowed releases that load XML / cap Symfony at 7. Composer already resolves 3.4.1 / 3.2.0. No code change: the classes extended here (SymfonyResponseTagger,UserContextListener,ProxyClient\Varnish,EventDispatchingHttpCache) keep their signatures.For QA:
No functional change. PHP 8.3 and 8.4, fresh
