Summary

For the star-conversion problem: give README visitors one concrete, compelling moment before they click anywhere.

  • `examples/live-demo/` — a real end-to-end run. `transcript.md`, `audit.md`, `audit.share.md` all generated by running `vera chat` + `vera audit --share` against the Anthropic API this morning. Unlike `examples/` (hand-authored for clarity), this is raw output.
  • README above-the-fold block — lifts the auditor's best catch into a quote visible before the "What changes" section: the user reported 400 ms to serialize 50 kB of JSON, nobody questioned it, the auditor worked out the implied throughput (~0.1 MB/s) and flagged it as likely measurement error.

Why this helps stars: right now a visitor has to click into `examples/` to see what the tool does. The money-shot quote does the conversion in 15 seconds on the README itself.

Also landed this session (outside this PR)

  • GitHub Pages enabled on `main /docs` — mobile CTA now resolves.
  • Repo `description` + `homepage` + 12 discovery topics (ai, llm, prompt-engineering, claude, chatgpt, gemini, hallucination, sycophancy, anthropic, openai, system-prompt, ai-safety).

Test plan

  • Full end-to-end run produced the artifacts (real API call, real model output)
  • Existing `examples/` preserved untouched
  • Verify https://iamitp.github.io/vera/ is live after Pages build
  • Preview README rendering on github.com

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

examples/live-demo/ captures an end-to-end run against the Anthropic
API (chat -> audit --share). The auditor caught a real methodological
issue: the transcript contained an implausibly high JSON-serialisation
latency (400ms for 50kB, ~0.1 MB/s) that neither the primary nor the
user questioned. The auditor flagged it as likely measurement error
and worked out the implied throughput.

Lifted that finding into the README above the fold so visitors see
what the loop produces without having to click into examples/.
