Summary of Changes

Hello @G0V1NDK, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request enhances the user experience across several components by reorganizing the placement of search and filtering elements. By moving search bars into modal headers and making the facility search filters sticky, the changes aim to provide a more intuitive and consistent interface for users interacting with these functionalities.

Highlights

  • Modal Search Bar Relocation: The search bar in AddFacilityGroupModal.vue and AddStaffMemberModal.vue has been moved from the main content area to a dedicated ion-toolbar within the modal's header, improving its visibility and accessibility.
  • Sticky Sidebar for Facility Search: In FindFacilities.vue, the search and filter sections are now encapsulated within a new sidebar div, which has been styled to be sticky at the top of the view, ensuring filters remain accessible while scrolling.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request moves the search bar into the modal header for AddFacilityGroupModal and AddStaffMemberModal, and introduces a sticky sidebar for search and filters in FindFacilities.vue. My review has identified a few areas for improvement. In both modals, the search bar's keyup.enter event handler contains redundant code that can be simplified. More importantly, a critical issue was found in FindFacilities.vue where a change in the HTML structure breaks the grid layout because the corresponding CSS in a global file was not updated. This will need to be addressed to ensure the layout renders correctly.

critical

By wrapping the <section class="search"> and <aside class="filters"> elements within a new <div class="sidebar">, you've changed the DOM structure. However, the corresponding CSS for the .find grid layout, located in src/theme/variables.css, has not been updated.

The existing CSS in src/theme/variables.css applies grid layout properties to direct children of .find with classes .search and .filters. Since these are no longer direct children, the layout will be broken.

To fix this, you need to update the CSS for .find to work with the new .sidebar element. This likely involves assigning a grid-area to the .sidebar class and updating the grid-template-areas for .find.

The @keyup.enter handler includes queryString = $event.target.value, which is redundant when using v-model="queryString". The v-model directive already keeps the queryString data property in sync with the input's value. You can simplify the code by removing the assignment.

      <ion-searchbar v-model="queryString" @keyup.enter="findGroups()"/>

<ion-title>{{ translate("Staff") }}</ion-title>
