Sharing some feedback on the current experience of configuring facility timings in the Facility App — it’s quite cumbersome and can be improved for better usability.
Key challenges:
- Setting timings for each day is tedious and has to be done in one go
- No option to save progress or copy timings across the week
- If there’s any network issue, all data is lost and setup has to restart
- Even for a small change (like updating one day), we need to reconfigure all 7 days
Suggestions:
- Add auto-save / draft to avoid data loss
- Enable day-level editing so we can update specific days only
- Provide bulk apply option (same timing for multiple days with later customization)
- Add CSV upload support to bulk update timings for multiple facilities
This will significantly reduce effort and make the setup more efficient, especially for clients managing multiple locations. Imagine setting up the timing for 80 stores 80 times.
