The READMEs already documented the v0.12 user kit, but the root status page still identified v0.8 and the old roadmap listed completed recovery work as future work. Align both READMEs, PROJECT_STATUS, the product plan and the acceptance matrix with the implemented v0.12 beta.

  • Put current capabilities and outstanding live-model, independent-user, license and release acceptance near the top of the READMEs.
  • Refresh the selected source/docs/test structure and distinguish historical v0.3.1 scores from current reference/regression acceptance.
  • Record the actual user-kit installation/recovery gate; keep future UI and reusable PR integration explicitly deferred.

Validation: all 64 relative Markdown links resolve; code fences and listed current module paths checked; git diff --check clean; pytest tests/test_user_kit.py tests/test_product_acceptance.py: 20 passed (15 existing Python tarfile deprecation warnings). Documentation only: package source, version, dependencies, tests and workflow are unchanged.

PR validation: verification-pipeline run 39223477024 passed all 15 jobs on the reviewed tree. Merged into main as 0988751.
