Hi, I'm Haokai Ding

Undergraduate researcher working on underactuated robotic grippers, mechanism design, and aerial manipulation.

I am an X Scholar in the joint training program between Tsinghua University and Shenzhen X-Institute, currently visiting CIUS Lab at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Research interests

  • Underactuated grippers — Peaucellier linkages, idle-stroke mechanisms, adaptive grasping
  • Aerial manipulation — UAV perching, electromagnetic adhesion
