Haiden McGill

Product builder for AI in regulated, high-stakes workflows. Senior PM at Optimove, leading agentic workflows. Ex-founder, UCL MSc (IoT and embedded AI). I prototype in code, using Claude Code, Cursor, and Vercel for full-stack builds.

What I build

  • Agentic AI with evidence behind it. Multi-agent systems, RAG and evaluation, designed so a human can see why the system said what it said.
  • Workflows that replace manual review. Intake, check against a standard, route to the right person. Healthcare (HIPAA), compliance and insurance.
  • Voice and field capture. Speech in, structured data out, for people whose hands are busy.
  • Hardware and sensing. Edge AI and IoT, from fire-risk sensors to ESP32 prototypes.

Selected work

  • Temporal: ecologists talk while they walk a site, and Temporal fills the report fields and lists what they didn't say while they're still on site. Every value links back to the words it came from.
  • ClaimsIQ: Claude Vision damage assessment for insurance claims, with confidence-based routing (approve, review, escalate). The agent keeps the final call.
  • Offbeat: a scroll-driven audio journey along the Pacific Crest Trail, built from a friend's field recordings. Designed and shipped solo.
  • mcp-ag-grid: open-source MCP server that gives Claude a headless AG Grid for data viz, filtering and export.
  • Synthia: real-time voice AI for dementia-care training.
  • Firewall Scout: IoT microclimate sensing for fire-risk detection (UCL MSc).

Track record

  • Embodied Labs (healthcare edtech, Series A): first product hire. Drove the move from VR to web that became the core growth engine (850% YoY user growth, $1.5M+ ARR), and built the experimentation framework behind a 255% lift in first-session activation.
  • NOCTVRNAL: co-founded an XR studio and ran product for four years.
