It would be nice to save image/package inside an external registry (gitea for exemple) as this could make more usecase for the project. We could then combine it with others things like scan or things like that
No no, more like a way to act as a proxy, but save externally the package on Gitea for exemple.
Here is an exemple:
-User do: "go get "
-It request to the proxy that check if they have the cache on the external storage (Gitea for exemple), if not, it check online for the package.
-When found online, it save the package on the external storage and also send it to the user
I don't know if its the real way the proxy is working, but the idea is having the storage to something else so we can use more tools on that storage and still use this proxy for pull through cache from this repo
To continue on the way, its more of having a way that the proxy query the package online, save it to an external storage (Like Gitea, Cloud or something external of this project) and also be able to pull from it directly from that storage
