architect 9.6.0 brings app-build-suite 2.2.0, whose new HelmTemplateValidator step renders the chart with `helm template` and values.yaml only. The connectivity chart fails fast on an empty `ingress.parentRefs`, so the default-values render cannot succeed and build-connectivity-chart breaks. abs prefers `<chart-dir>/.abs/main.yaml` over the repo-root config, so the setting lands in a chart-local file and leaves the umbrella chart's build (which does render with defaults) untouched. The validator gets the same values file `ct lint` already uses.
