I am just starting to use this library, so my apologies if this feature already exists. However, at first look it was not there, so here is my suggestion.
It would be useful to a serialization of the Document object into something resembling a JSON (perhaps a string?), which can in turn be used in RESTful APIs.
If you have a suggestion for a straightforward way to do this, I would love to hear it. For now, I am planning to write some kind of serializer that looks at the Document object and creates a string/JSON from it.
