A self-hosted instance of IT-Tools, rebranded and restyled. Runs at finntools.duckdns.org.
Every tool runs in the browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is logged; the handful of tools that do call an external service say so on their own page.
Nothing functional. This is the ShareVB fork with a different skin:
- Palette rebuilt around brass on deep ink, with plum as the second voice, in both light and dark. Same tokens as tungln.is-a.dev, so the two sites read as one hand.
- Typography: Unbounded for the wordmark and tool titles, Inter for body copy, JetBrains Mono for code. Self-hosted, so the app keeps its typography offline.
- Marks: new logo, favicons, PWA icons and link-preview banner.
- Copy: product name, About page and metadata.
Tool code, translations and build tooling are untouched, which keeps the fork cheap to rebase on upstream.
The files that carry all of it:
src/themes.ts Naive UI surface and accent tokens
src/ui/theme/themes.ts the app's own design tokens
src/layouts/base.layout.vue sidebar wordmark, footer
src/layouts/tool.layout.vue tool title
src/assets/hero-gradient.svg sidebar header
public/ logo, favicons, banner
index.html title, meta, anti-flash colours
The image is built for arm64 only (the server it runs on is an Oracle A1) and
published to ghcr.io/finnwasabi/finntools:latest.

better part of an hour.
