This is mainly because the landrush vagrant plugin can only route only 1 domain from your host machine to the vagrant image.
To make it work with CDK, the domain of the apps have to be cdk.vm.
I've asked the landrush team to enhance their code to allow mutiple TLD to be mapped. Don't know when it'll come out.
