Summary

  • Quick Terminals — a seat's menu gains New Quick Terminal: a plain shell in the seat's working folder that doesn't start the seat. Numbered badges beside the seat in the sidebar; kept out of the tab bar and the general tabs.
  • Inbox — ready beads (bd ready --assignee <name>) for the configurable human name (stakker by default) and the human's own name. An Inbox chip on the Needs you rail opens a pane pinned at the right of the stage: kind filters, per-Wheelhouse groups that fold, clickable links, a row menu to Send to a seat, Comment…, Close… (run as the bead's assignee), copy the id or open the link, and a refresh button.
  • Stage layout — columns only for pinned seats (one full-width seat otherwise); resizable dividers (double-click resets); Wheelhouse names on tabs and panes when several are open.
  • Working dot — green for a seat with a fresh bead heartbeat but no terminal here (dispatcher-woken workers).
  • Add Wheelhouse takes a pasted path; the folder panel is still there.
  • Fixes — leaving the Wheelhouses tab returns to the terminal you were in; Send to a seat that isn't running brings its pane up so it starts.
  • 30 new strings, translated into all 39 other languages; help page, search keywords and CHANGELOG updated.

Test plan

  • make check (build, lint, format, tests) passes; new tests for the stage layout (including the inbox anchor), pane sizing, Quick Terminal matching, inbox parsing/merge/response arguments, heartbeat working window and path normalising
  • Localization validation passes (1411 keys in every language)
  • Manually tested in the debug app: focus restore, pin/column rules, resizing, Quick Terminals, inbox (links, filters, comment, close, send to running and stopped seats)

…Wheelhouse stage

- Quick Terminals: a plain shell per seat in its working folder that
doesn't start the seat, shown as numbered badges beside it in the
sidebar and kept out of the tab bars.
- Inbox: ready beads assigned to the configurable human name (stakker by
default) and the human's own name, as an Inbox chip on the Needs you
rail and a pane pinned at the right of the stage. It filters by kind,
folds by Wheelhouse, links are clickable, and a bead can be sent to a
seat, commented on or closed (as its assignee).
- Stage: columns only for pinned seats, resizable dividers, Wheelhouse
names when seats from several are open.
- A green working dot for seats with a fresh bead heartbeat but no
terminal here, such as dispatcher-woken workers.
- Add Wheelhouse takes a pasted path.
- Leaving the Wheelhouses tab returns to the terminal you were in.
- Sending to a seat that isn't running brings its pane up so it starts.
