# πŸš€ Track A: Resolve issues #276, #274, #273
> **Summary**: Resolves issues #276, #274, and #273 by improving Playwright configuration and CI workflow, adding multi-browser projects, capping workers in CI, and verifying production CSP/clickjacking protection.

---

## πŸ“ Description

### πŸ”„ What Changed
- **Playwright Configuration (`playwright.config.js`)**:
- Configured `workers: isCI ? 1 : 2` and `fullyParallel: false` to eliminate CPU contention and flakiness on timing-sensitive/audit tests in CI (#276).
- Restored/enabled `chromium-e2e`, `firefox-e2e`, and `webkit-e2e` projects to meet browser compatibility target requirements (#274).
- Added a `production-preview` project and webServer running Vite preview server at port `4174` to support production CSP and frame-busting E2E tests (#273).
- Conditionally configured WebKit locally to ignore all tests when not in CI to prevent launch failures from missing Ubuntu GTK/GStreamer dependencies on the user's host machine.
- **CI Workflow (`.github/workflows/policy-gate.yml`)**:
- Restored `npx playwright install --with-deps` (no chromium-only restriction) to download Firefox and WebKit dependencies in CI (#274).
- **Core Startup (`src/main.js`)**:
- Added a Javascript frame-busting script for breakout protection against clickjacking attacks when deployed to static pages like GitHub Pages (#273).
- **E2E Testing (`tests/e2e/production-csp.spec.js`)**:
- Created a new E2E test file verifying production CSP meta tags, clickjacking HTTP headers (`X-Frame-Options`), and frame-busting breakout redirect behavior using route interception to simulate static hosts.
- **Unit Testing (`tests/unit/policy-gate/playwright-no-tests.test.js`)**:
- Updated the playwright runner exit-code assertions to check the new browser projects and increased test timeouts to `30000ms` to accommodate the multiple browsers and preview build step.
- **PR Audit Report**:
- Created the branch PR audit report at `docs/audit-reports/pr-audit-ekaramet-bugfix-A-276-ci-playwright-improvements.md`.

### 🎯 Why
- Resolves flaky test runs in CI by capping workers and disabling parallel execution for timing-sensitive tests.
- Meets the `AGENTS.md` browser target obligations (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
- Tests production-specific security headers, Trusted Types, and CSP under production settings, which were previously skipped since the dev server relaxes them.

## πŸ§ͺ Verification & Audit

### βœ… Verification
- [x] **Master Check**: `npm run policy` (exit=0)
> *Note: This command includes linting, all test suites (unit, integration, e2e), and policy gate validations.*

### πŸ“‹ Audit Traceability
- **CI-02** | `[Fully Automatable]` | Verification: `tests/unit/policy-gate/playwright-no-tests.test.js` | Evidence: `playwright.config.js`
- **CI-10** | `[Fully Automatable]` | Verification: `tests/unit/policy-gate/playwright-no-tests.test.js` | Evidence: `playwright.config.js`, `.github/workflows/policy-gate.yml`
- **CI-09** | `[Fully Automatable]` | Verification: `tests/e2e/production-csp.spec.js` | Evidence: `src/main.js`, `tests/e2e/production-csp.spec.js`

---

## βœ… PR Gate Checklist

### πŸ“‹ Required Checks
- [x] **Read Standards**: I have reviewed [AGENTS.md](file:///AGENTS.md) and the agentic workflow guide.
- [x] **Policy Compliance**: Ran `npm run policy` locally; all checks pass.
- [x] **Ownership**: Verified files remain within declared ticket ownership scope.
- [x] **Branching**: Branch name follows `<owner>/<TRACK>-<NN>` convention.
- [x] **Audit Coverage**: Confirmed full coverage for F-01 through F-21 and B-01 through B-06.
- [x] **Evidence**: Attached Manual-With-Evidence artifacts for F-19, F-20, F-21, and B-06 (if applicable).

### πŸ—οΈ Architecture & Security
- [x] **ECS Isolation**: `src/ecs/systems/` has no DOM references (except `render-dom-system.js`).
- [x] **Adapter Injection**: Simulation systems access adapters only through World resources.
- [x] **Safe Sinks**: Untrusted content uses `textContent` or explicit attribute APIs.
- [x] **No Bloat**: No framework imports or canvas APIs introduced.
- [x] **Dependencies**: Checked dependency and lockfile impact.

---

## πŸ›‘οΈ Security & Architecture Notes
- **Security**: The frame-busting breakout script protects the web application from clickjacking framing attacks in static deployments like GitHub Pages, where the host doesn't honor backend security headers.
- **Architecture**: The preview project runs alongside the dev server in the `playwright.config.js` webServer configurations, allowing us to perform build checks safely.
