CAPS Indicator Doesn't Show/Hide Until Any Panel Item is Clicked

What Happened?

The CAPS indicator doesn't seem to appear or disappear when caps is pressed on the keyboard. Unless I click another indicator and then it appears with a weird animation glitch.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Turn on CAPS indicator in the panel settings
2. Press the CAPS key, the indicator doesn't appear in my case
3. Click any random indicator or panel item.
4. Indicator appears
5. Press CAPS again, indicator doesn't go away
6. Click any random panel item
7. Indicator goes away

Expected Behavior

CAPS indicator should appear or disappear when I press the CAPS key in sync with the CAPS LED.
