German Translation

I would like to help with the German translation. Did I miss anything about how I can contribute?
I can gladly translate either XML files or Excel files, or whatever is preferred.

Hi, that's great. You did not miss a thing, I just add translations somewhat on demand, since it requires some manual UI adjustements.
The main task is to translate the strings resource file (attached)

Then we would continue with the rest of the UI strings.

Sorry that it took so long....

I translated it using the informal 'Du' form instead of the formal 'Sie' form.
In a few cases, the German text is slightly longer than the English text, so I used abbreviations. But if the formatting is still a bit too long in some cases, I can add the standard abbreviations as well.
