DOC opened 32 huts and hut-side campsites in Richmond Forest Park, Arthur's Pass National Park and on the St James Walkway for bookings from 1 November 2026 (media release, 1 October 2026). For 22 of them on the trail, the trust's record still says Bookable: No and Booking Required: No, while each hut's DOC page says "Bookings required" and links to online booking. This is a real booking, not the online Backcountry Hut Ticket that non-bookable huts also get from 1 November. A correction per hut sets both fields to Yes, citing its DOC page and the release. Captains Creek, Middy Creek, Rocks, Browning, Hacket, Starveall, Slaty, Old Man, Mt Rintoul, Tarn, Mid Wairoa, Top Wairoa, Hunters, Porters Creek, Red Hills, Waiau, Magdalen, Hurunui, Hurunui No. 3, Locke Stream, Kiwi and Goat Pass huts. Takes te-araroa-data with eamon-b/te-araroa-data#12, which sets Bookable and Booking Required to Yes on the 22 huts DOC made bookable from 1 November 2026 (Richmond Forest Park, Arthur's Pass, St James Walkway). Only those huts' descriptions change; no waypoint ids move. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Follow-up to #11. DOC made 32 huts and hut-side campsites bookable from 1 November 2026 (media release, 1 Oct 2026): Richmond Forest Park, Arthur's Pass National Park and the St James Walkway. For 22 of them on the trail, the trust's record still says
Bookable: NoandBooking Required: No, while each hut's DOC page shows "Bookings required" and an online booking link. This is a real booking requirement. It is not the online Backcountry Hut Ticket that non-bookable huts also get from 1 November ("this isn't a booking").Each hut gets a correction in
data/site-corrections.json, keyed by GlobalID, that sets bothBookableandBooking RequiredtoYes. Setting only one would leave the description reading "Bookable: No | Booking Required: Yes". Each correction cites the hut's DOC page and the release.Huts: Captains Creek, Middy Creek, Rocks, Browning, Hacket, Starveall, Slaty, Old Man, Mt Rintoul, Tarn, Mid Wairoa, Top Wairoa, Hunters, Porters Creek, Red Hills, Waiau, Magdalen, Hurunui, Hurunui No. 3, Locke Stream, Kiwi, Goat Pass.
Checks
out/diff is only those 22 huts' two booking fields (in every output) and the build timestamp.npm test: 50 pass, 0 fail.npm run typecheckis clean, andsrc/docs.tsreports README and docs unchanged. When the trust's record catches up to Yes, these corrections become no-ops; the build does not flag them, so remove them by hand at the next season's data refresh.
