Summary

  • update the packaged Matter SDK to 3e4936e176f
  • include the corrected Windows GATT session readiness and lifetime sequencing
  • keep the existing 0.1.0-preview.8 package version configured on main

The native fix waits for and retains a maintained GattSession, sets the negotiated MTU before exposing the connection to Matter, uses uncached GATT discovery for retried/factory-reset devices, and preserves BLE connection ownership until Matter closes the raw handle.

Validation

  • x64 native WinRT component build
  • ARM64 native WinRT component build
  • Matter.Windows.Controller.0.1.0-preview.8.nupkg creation
  • x64 Release sample build against the local package
  • ARM64 Release sample build against the local package

Physical-device validation against the reported failure matrix remains requested after publishing the preview package.

Package the corrected Windows GATT session lifecycle in the next WinRT preview so physical-device commissioning can be validated.

Move node recovery onto a new runtime class so preview.8 can add the capability without changing the existing IMatterController vtable.
