Blocked upstream, not by anything in this repo.

eslint.config.mjs extends eslint-config-next, which depends on eslint-plugin-react@^7.37.0. That plugin's react/display-name rule calls context.getFilename(), which ESLint 10 removed, so lint dies before it reads a single file:

TypeError: Error while loading rule 'react/display-name': contextOrFilename.getFilename is not a function

eslint-plugin-react@7.37.5 is the latest release and still declares peerDependencies.eslint: "^3 || ... || ^9.7" — no ESLint 10 support. eslint-config-next advertises eslint: ">=9.0.0", so npm/bun raise no warning; the incompatibility only shows up at rule-load time.

Nothing to fix here. Holding until eslint-plugin-react ships ESLint 10 support and eslint-config-next picks it up.

Looks like eslint is no longer being updated by Dependabot, so this is no longer needed.

Closing: eslint 10 is blocked upstream, not here.

eslint-config-next@16.3.1 depends on eslint-plugin-react@^7.37.0, and 7.37.5 is the newest published version — its peer range is eslint: ^3 || ... || ^9.7. Under eslint 10 the plugin crashes at rule load:

TypeError: Error while loading rule 'react/display-name': contextOrFilename.getFilename is not a function

Dependabot is now configured to skip eslint majors, so this won't reopen. Worth revisiting once eslint-plugin-react ships eslint 10 support.
