It would be cool to have an on/off checkbox option for tiling windows to ignore the top panel when calculating Outer Gaps. Such that it would consider the top of the monitor the "top" and not the bottom of the panel.
When you have a fully opaque top panel, this isn't much of an issue. Everything looks pretty even. But if you have a transparent top panel, it appears as if the tiled window has extra distance from the top of the monitor as from the sides and bottom. Which, it essentially does. It just looks off, is all.
I am attaching a screenshot that I hope illustrates what I'm talking about. You can see how large the gap appears at the top, and how much thinner the gap is on the sides. This is at "32" pixel Outer Gap.
