Fixes two resource lifecycle issues:

• The pipeline now joins every successfully started worker after a startup failure. A worker error or panic no longer prevents the remaining workers from being joined. Existing error precedence is preserved.
• The catalog builder now creates separate temporary files exclusively, preventing concurrent builds from truncating each other’s files. Failed builds attempt to remove only their own temporary files.
