Thank you for the assistance. However, the device is not working properly yet.
It is now added as Presence Sensor (Radar / mmWave), so it is a step forward.
However, the sensor gives off just LUX measurement, not presence/motion alarm

I am running 9.0.1059 version

I have used both options of adding devices and have turned off and on Homey several times --> the device is added successfully but
a) no change in Motion alarm, human presence or detection distance (even I am waving it in front of me). The luminance data is working OK by updating the values every 1-2 second
b) there is a button option which gives error "Missing capability Listener: onoff" when I push on it.

Should be fixed in Universal Tuya Test tip (presence/distance + no phantom Channel). Please update the app and Repair the radar. If lux still moves but presence stays dead after Repair, send a fresh diag UUID and I will dig again.

Thanks for the superquick reply. There has been improvement but still not working 100% yet.

Important measures are now working: Presence is now OK (both Motion and Human Presence variables are updated frequently and accurately).

However, the distance number is way off (saying distance is 1m while the correct distance is 3m vs. 1.7m while real distance is <1m. When I repair once more to test, this measure is longer updated and stay stuck at 0m even when alarm is triggered) and Lux measure is dead (not updated at all)

One more thing, if it helps you. I try to repair again. Strange thing is that Homey gives it new capabilities. See report under.

I dug into the residual on tip 9.0.1086.

Presence path was already OK. What still failed after re-pair:

• distance stuck at 0m because find_switch stopped re-arming once DP9 had painted 0 once
• lux went quiet in the same race
• phantom Button/zones/battery could come back after Repair

Shipped in the next Test build (P2604): keep re-arming find_switch while distance is stuck at ~0, align Z2M V3 DPs (lux DP103, distance /10, no fake DP104 presence), strip those phantoms on ceiling radars.

Please update Universal Tuya Test when 9.0.1087+ shows, remove device, re-add, then check distance + lux for a few minutes.

I am confused. When the Homey ran v9.0.1096, the presence, motion ID and distance worked but not the LUX.
When it is updated to v9.0.1097, nothing worked any more: presence, motion ID are frequently updated but report wrong/erratic values (eg. no alarm even I am nearby or alarm even when I am not close by) + distance and LUX are still dead. Reports from the 2 versions are under.

I dug the 9.0.1096 vs 9.0.1097 gap on your _TZE204_gkfbdvyx+TS0601.

What broke after the tip bump:

• Homey re-injected Button / zones / temp / battery phantoms
• DP10 could overwrite real lux (DP103) with junk values like 1
• lux quiet path could clear presence even when distance still showed someone
• find_switch re-arm stopped too early when distance stuck around 0.2m

Fix is in the next Test tip (9.0.1105+). Please update Universal Tuya Test, remove the radar, re-add it, then watch lux + distance + presence for a few minutes. If lux stays dead after that, send a fresh diag UUID.

I re-read your Gmail thread (1086 → Repair phantoms → 1096 good distance → 1097 break).

Extra fix in tip 9.0.1106 (P2618):

• Lux: V3 is DP103 only (Z2M). DP10 was painting junk lux=1 and killing real lux
• Repair: auto-discovery no longer invents Battery / Button / Zone tiles on this ceiling radar
• Presence: fresh distance >0.15m counts as corroboration (your 0.2m OCR case)
• Distance scale stays Z2M ÷10 (same as when 3.1m worked on 9.0.1096)

Please update Universal Tuya Test to 9.0.1106+, remove the radar, re-add, then check lux + distance for a few minutes. If distance still looks inverted vs a tape measure, tell me the Homey number and the real meters at 2–3 positions and I will dig the MCU scale next.
