Finalize project README

Summary

Replaces the planning-oriented root README with a finished-project overview.

• presents the delivered data, traditional, deep-learning, and continual-learning work
• adds a GitHub-rendered architecture diagram that distinguishes traditional evaluation from the two CNN-only Grad-CAM and continual-learning routes
• records the final evaluation snapshot and reproducibility checks
• adds project-paper citations and the A-E contribution table
• keeps raw data and experiment artifacts explicitly outside Git

The previous README is preserved locally in the ignored docs/README_before_final_submission_backup.md file and is intentionally not included in this PR.
