5.60.0 is the last 5.x release before the 6.0 freeze window opens (~2026-10-12; bead edgartools-07lk.22). After it, fixes keep merging to main and ship in 6.0.0 on 2026-11-09.

• Folds the 24 changelog.d/ fragments into CHANGELOG.md [5.60.0] - 2026-10-02 and leaves a fresh empty [Unreleased].
