• Filing sections. Seven fixes to how 10-K/10-Q items are found through the table of contents:
  • TOC sub-heading rows no longer claim items (TOC: a keyword-matched row can claim an item key ahead of the explicit "Item N." row #1344).
  • Items that share a page anchor are separated (TOC: with one anchor per page, consecutive items share a span — obj['Item 7A'] returns Item 7 #1345).
  • Citi's cross-reference page offset is corrected (CrossReferenceIndex: printed page N is assumed to be the Nth page break — Citi's FY2022 10-K is off by 3 #1346).
  • Label-and-title cells parse (TOC: a label cell that carries its own title ("Item 1. Business") yields no item label — FirstEnergy's obj['Item 7'] returns Item 8 #1347).
  • "Part I, Item 2" labels parse (TOC: "Part I, Item 2" resolves to the Part and the item number is discarded — Edison's 10-Q maps one section #1348).
  • Table cells no longer fuse in section text.
• 13F. A two-holding filing with one sub-$1 warrant was valued 1,000× too high, silently (13F: thin implied-price sample forces a silent 1000x #1336).
• Filing downloads. SGML downloads no longer cache an empty filing header on SEC server errors or refusals (Filing.sgml() swallows a 5xx and returns an all-None header via the homepage fallback #1349, Filing.sgml() still caches an all-None header on 429/403 (follow-up to #1349) #1351). Filing.html() returns None instead of raising when the index page lists no primary document.

  • Members filed on two axes keep both rows.
  • Note families no longer split on mixed role spellings.
  • Disclosure Tables and Details follow their parent.
  • NVIDIA's two-axis segment revenue stays in the detailed view.
  • balance_sheet() keeps debt reported under combined concepts (fix: include combined debt concepts in balance sheet fallback mappings #1330).
• Deprecated. EDGAR_ACCESS_MODE and the NORMAL/CAUTION/CRAWL modes (EDGAR_ACCESS_MODE is documented with a timeout/connection/retry table, but nothing in the package reads it #1326). They never had any effect, and removal lands in 6.0.
• Performance. to_dataframe(*columns) builds only the requested columns ([PERFORMANCE] FactQuery.to_dataframe(*columns) materializes the full fact width before applying column projection #1181), and BDC identifier parsing caches its regexes.
