I noticed that this library will eventually make curl request but there's no check in configure.ac for curl? Should there be?
I also had an issue with making the v2 style request because my ca-path wasn't set correctly. Although, I compiled curl by hand so this may be my own doing. It's probably reasonable that this software assumes that curl is installed correctly :)
