A simple and convenient utility for launching and creating FXServer profiles on Windows.
This script works like an enhanced FXServer launcher:
- Quickly and easily launches the selected server profile.
- Allows you to create new profiles with name validation.
- Supports specifying a custom port for the server or using the default port.
With this script, you can easily:
- Launch the selected server profile.
- Create new profiles without unnecessary steps.
- Manage all profiles from a single convenient menu.
-
Create a new file named
FXMultiProfiles.batin your FXServer folder, located at:yourserver/ ├── artifact/ │ └── FXServer.exe └── FXMultiProfiles.bat -
Navigate to the folder for your preferred language in the project repository and copy the contents of the
FXMultiProfiles.batfile. -
Paste the copied contents into the
FXMultiProfiles.batfile you created in your FXServer folder. Note: Downloading theFXMultiProfiles.batfile directly from the repository and placing it in your folder may cause issues. Windows may block it due to an unknown publisher, and even if it runs, it may not function correctly. Always create the file manually and copy the contents as described. -
Ensure that the
artifactfolder containingFXServer.exeis in the same directory as theFXMultiProfiles.batfile. -
Optionally, you can modify the
TXHOST_DATA_PATHvariable in the script to store profiles (txData) in a custom location:set TXHOST_DATA_PATH=D:/your/path/to/txData
-
You can also add custom settings before or after the
set TXHOST_DATA_PATHline. For example available settings likeset TXHOST_*, refer to txAdmin Environment Configuration. -
Before launching the server, you will be prompted to specify a custom port for the server or use the default port.
- Double-click the
FXMultiProfiles.batfile. - The menu will display available profiles or prompt you to create a new one.
- Select an existing profile or create a new one — the script validates the name (only Latin letters and digits, no spaces).
- Before the server starts, you will be prompted to specify a custom port for the server or choose to use the default port.
- The script will launch
FXServer.exewith the selected profile and port.
