I want to be careful about the 'How to not appear on Fediwall' part. That's a very sensitive topic. The phrase "That's a shame" may already be enough to trigger certain people. Apart from that, the wording sounds good though. I'm playing with the idea of obeying |

Yes, on reflection I agree with you about the phrasing, I was going for empathetic but it could come across flippant. I’ll send an adjusted version in a little while. |

I made a tweak to the wording as you suggested, and also added a suggestion that folks fork and host to make greater CSS changes (per #12). |
I tidied up the README slightly, and also added a section explaining how Fediwall tries to follow the rules around the API limits, but also, how to stop Fediwall from accessing posts if needed.
If a User-Agent header is implemented (#13), this information could be added to this section of the README later, to help Mastodon instance owners decide what to do with that.
Also added a direct link to #CatsOfMastodon 😸
