Add a publication to the website #4

Description

@antaldaniel
  • install.packages("blogdown") in R studio.
  • Create a fork of the dataobservatory-eu/competition repo
  • Create a copy of the folder /content/publication/european_visibilitiy_2022
  • name the new folder /content/publication/information_exchange_digital_2019
  • Change the details in of your publication (i.e. authors, title, etc.) in the YAML and markdown part of index.md to your publication details.
  • To avoid confusion, delete the featured.png in the nformation_exchange_digital_2019
  • Create a screenshot of the journal, or a relevant chart, etc and save as featured.png Don't worry about the size and aspect ratio now.
  • Either manually change the details of the cite.bib file, or export your citation details from a journal website, or from Zotero.
  • Do not forget in the YAML header of index.Rmd to change the DOI of your article.

When done, please send a pull request to dataobservatory-eu/competition <- borid/competition

Important. Your computer, technically, could create a preview of the entire website. But this would require the installation of a local hugo server, and various R packages, such as blogdown. Do not attempt this. Just add the artefacts of your publication into the repo and send a pull request.

I think that this should be made into a tutorial, as we would like to encourage curators/scientist to bring in their publications when they use our observatory data.
