Looks like we should hold off merging this until the failed / skipped checks are resolved. There's some ongoing discussion about this on the #maintainers channel in the Carpentries slack.

Hi @K-Meech ! That's correct - my thoughts are that it'll be easier to employ the fix for next Tuesday when the next workflow update action runs, and we can clear out all the existing workflows and start from fresh! Another option would be to run the workflow manually once I've employed the fix and that would also work.

In short, you could merge this in and have some doubled up builds for a few days, or close it and wait until Tuesday or run it again manually once I've let people know I've got a fix ready 👍
