A solo-developed roguelike / turn-based combat game where dice rolls determine your fate. Build powerful dice patterns, deal massive damage, manage MP, and survive increasingly difficult battles.
⚠️ Demo Version | Build 13 – Playable combat demo
DiceBattlers is a turn-based roguelike where dice patterns are your weapons.
The goal is simple: build stronger and rarer dice patterns to generate bigger attack numbers and defeat your enemies before they defeat you.
Instead of relying purely on individual dice values, you're rewarded for creating combinations such as:
- 🎲 Five of a Kind
- 🎲 Four of a Kind
- 🎲 Full House
- 🎲 Straights
- 🎲 And other special patterns
The better your pattern, the more powerful your attack becomes.
But attacking isn't the only way to use your dice.
Certain special dice patterns generate MP, giving you access to magical abilities during combat.
You can spend your accumulated MP to cast powerful magic and gain an advantage over your opponent.
There's also Magic Scan, a special ability that doesn't require MP, allowing you to use it without spending your magical resource.
This creates another layer of strategy: do you maximize your attack pattern for immediate damage, or build patterns that generate MP for stronger abilities later?
- 🎲 Roll your dice
- 🧩 Build the best possible pattern
- ⚔️ Use your pattern to generate attack power
- 🔮 Generate and manage MP through special patterns
- ✨ Use Magic Scan and other abilities
- 🤖 Survive the enemy's turn
- 🔁 Continue the battle and progress through the run
Every roll is an opportunity to improve your position.

|---|---|
| Dice Mechanics | Build increasingly powerful dice patterns |
| Combat | Convert patterns into damage and magical resources |
| Strategy | Choose between immediate damage and resource generation |
| Progression | Survive battles and advance through roguelike runs |

Roll your available dice at the beginning of your turn.
Look at your roll and try to create the strongest possible combination.
Patterns such as Five of a Kind, Four of a Kind, Full Houses, and Straights can dramatically increase your attack power.
Your completed pattern determines the strength of your attack.
Better pattern → Bigger number → More damage.
Some special patterns generate MP, allowing you to prepare for magical abilities.
Spend MP on your available magical abilities.
Magic Scan is a special exception — it can be used without MP.
After your turn, the enemy gets a chance to attack.
Manage your rolls, damage, and MP carefully to survive the encounter.
