Goal

Make the existing indexable /time-tracking-tools/without-manual-timers guide more useful to software buyers without expanding the indexed page inventory or introducing unapproved affiliate tracking.

Changes

• Add 3 decision-first recommendations: Timely for reviewed client/project timesheets, RescueTime Solo+ for focus + timesheets, and ActivityWatch for free local capture.
• Provide current publicly advertised annual-billing price context, important limitations, and direct vendor destinations.
• Clearly state these are documentation-based recommendations, not original hands-on product tests.
• Explicitly identify direct links as non-affiliate; do not add tracking, paid plans, new packages, or affiliate URLs.
• Preserve existing comparison evidence, sitemap/indexing policies, and /decide engine.

QA update — October 21, 2026

• ✅ Vercel preview deployment is READY and GitHub Vercel status is success for commit 7d0fea2.
• ✅ Vercel build logs show successful Next.js compilation, TypeScript stage, and static generation of the updated guide.
• ✅ Direct provider destinations and the cited current pricing were checked against official Timely ($9/user/month, annual billing), RescueTime Solo+ ($12/month, annual billing), and ActivityWatch (free/open-source) sources.
• ✅ Draft has no affiliate tracking links, paid integration, new libraries, or sitemap/indexing changes; legacy /compare noindex policy is preserved.
• ✅ GitHub reports branch is mergeable and clean.
• ⚠️ Preview URL could not be fetched through the available public browsing tool; final rendered mobile/desktop visual QA remains unverified. Do not infer visual QA from a green build.
• ☐ npm run lint and npm run seo:check were not independently run in this review.
• ☐ Verify preview with signed-in Vercel access and inspect the 3 recommendation cards, direct links, navigation and layout before deciding whether to merge.
• ☐ Before adding affiliate links, obtain actual partner approval; ensure sponsored link attribution and clear disclosure; don't favor commission over fit.
