Also, please add "global" there, since we now almost always have a "local" juliacon somewhere in the same year.

I'd avoid the "old Germanic" script. I like the second one, but would use the modern font for "Mainz".

I had had my doubts, sadly. I wonder what Gutenberg would have thought... :)

I like the 7th one but with less or no straight white lines.

After some very democratic processes, we have voted the 4th and 7th to be the winners! So, we need to combine both designs...

Some proposed changes, using the 4th as the baseline:

1. Having the while lines as frames only around "Mainz", and separate the five letter into 5 individual boxes.
2. Only having the castle in the middle section, not the entire logo.
3. The overall area needs to be smaller, i.e., we need to shrink everything a bit, so when we wear the shirt the graphics don't get wrapped/distorted.

Can these ideas be accommodated please, @cormullion? 🙏
