Auto-merge was enabled before branch protection required the CI checks, so several dependency bumps landed without ever running the test suite -- including a broken react/react-dom version mismatch. This PR reverts all of them back to the last verified state. Branch protection now requires backend-tests, frontend-build and docker-build to pass before anything can merge to main, including direct pushes.
