Excessive RAM usage in Firefox

[SoSoftAndMore]

Hello,

During sessions lasting several hours, the Firefox process uses up to 20GB of memory.

Workaround: close and reopen Firefox.

Is it possible to add a sliding window for the history, for example, limited to 2GB of RAM per session?

Thank you in advance.
