Summary

  • Adds a sixth step to the handoff's "When a Request Is Not in the Spec" section: when the builder says the package was recompiled, re-read the spec files the request touched. The builder may have applied the change differently, the package wins, and the agent says where it differs.
  • Appends the closed-loop trial result to ADR 0010 (record on Handoff tells the agent to edit the spec but gives no way to revalidate it #71): five of six runs built from the recompiled package; one searched for its own field name, missed the renamed field, and stopped.
  • Plugin version 0.5.3 to 0.5.4. Example handoff regenerated.

Not tested

This sentence has not been trialled. It answers one miss in six runs, and that miss was induced by a deliberate rename.

Test plan

  • python -m unittest discover -s checks/tests — 34 tests pass, including the example-matches-generator test
  • python checks/run_checks.py --ci --require-validator — 0 findings
  • CI green

ADR impact

  • Existing ADR amended by an appended, dated section: ADR 0010

…mpile

In a closed-loop trial one run in six searched the recompiled package for its
own field name, missed the builder's renamed field, and stopped. Add a sixth
step: after a recompile, re-read the spec files the request touched; the
package wins; say where it differs from the request.

- Regenerate the tea-tracker example handoff; bump the plugin to 0.5.4
- Append the closed-loop result and this decision to ADR 0010
