Conversation
The Trivy image scan reports pip in python:3.12-slim as vulnerable until 26.2.0. Upgrade pip before installing pandas so the published local image leaves a patched installer. Co-authored-by: Chris Grady <cgfixit@users.noreply.github.com>

CVE-2026-13346 is a path-traversal during
pip download/installfrom a malicious package index. The CLI does not invoke pip at runtime. The upgrade still clears a real residual installer CVE and is the correct hygiene if operators laterdocker exec/ rebuild with extra packages.Verification
