Managed to get it to build (you should specify that openjdk-17 is required, anything newer causes the gradle build to fail) and figured out that you have to separately run the server tool before running any of the other tools.
But now I can't figure out how to actually load my PIO scripts into the emulator. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but even in the monitor tool there's no "load" command or option to load from a .pio, .hex, or .pio.h file.
Some basic usage instructions would go a long way to improving usability!
