The Marketplace renders the README on the project page next to its own install button. Wrap install instructions and badges in ha-marketplace:exclude markers so they only show on GitHub. Home Assistant 2026.11 replaces HACS with the built-in Marketplace. It uses the same catalog and
hacs.json, so nothing is required, but this brings the repository in line with the Marketplace publisher docs:manifest.json: addcategories(helpers.calculate_value). The HACS action now warns when they are missing.hacs.json: sethomeassistant: 2026.2.0(the oldest version CI tests) and droprender_readme, which the Marketplace ignores.<!-- ha-marketplace:exclude-start/end -->, so they only show on GitHub. Removal instructions stay visible. On the Marketplace page, the table of contents entries for those subsections no longer have a target.Type of change
