AnimeRoom currently grants project-wide MIT permissions. Remove the root license file and README license badge/declaration, retaining Rishabh Singh’s copyright attribution and clarifying that existing licensed copies keep their original permissions.
Format the edited README with the existing Prettier configuration; its formatting was the cause of the previous main-branch CI failure.
Validation:
pnpm typecheck, pnpm lint, pnpm format:check, pnpm test(25 passed), andpnpm buildall passed. Lint and build used the repository’s CI placeholder environment.git diff --checkpassed; no runtime code or dependencies changed.pnpm audit --audit-level highfails on the existing dependencies (43 high and 2 critical findings). The package manifest and lockfile are identical to main; this licensing/documentation change does not add or update any dependencies.
