refactor(t3): remove the t3-v1-steer target and T3 V1 store support - #179
Conversation
Current T3 Code runs only its V2 engine. It keeps its data in statev2.sqlite and has no /api/orchestration/dispatch route or thread.turn.start command, so a t3-v1-steer bridge failed its thread check and could not deliver. - t3StatePath returns only statev2.sqlite; the state.sqlite fallback and the V1 queries in t3ThreadId, t3Threads and automatic wake selection are gone. A statev2.sqlite that does not yet have T3's thread tables (T3 is still creating it) holds no threads; isT3V2 is renamed t3StateReady to say that. - The t3-v1-steer adapter, its snapshot check and the T3_TYPES list are removed. wake-bridge, wake-auto-t3 and credential rotation reject a configuration naming t3-v1-steer with a message that says it was removed and to use t3-v2-queue. - pr-sessions reports a store without thread tables instead of "T3 V1 is unsupported", and its coverage limits no longer mention V1. - Tests that built V1 databases now use the V2 fixtures; the automatic supervisor quarantine and port-follow tests drive a V2 target. Tests of V1-only behavior are deleted. - Docs and the changelog describe the change.

- Around line 372-374: Clarify the thread-discovery sentence so it requires
exactly one T3 thread whose provider and native session ID match the current
session; state that no matches or multiple matches make discovery fail before
describing the fallback.
Review comments at @src/wake-bridge.ts:
- Line 53: Update the CHANGELOG with a migration note explaining that changing
target.type does not update the saved bridge binding, so an existing t3-v1-steer
journal is rejected by rejectRemovedTargetType before pending delivery; point
readers to the existing state guidance in docs/wake-bridges.md.

Current T3 Code runs only its newer engine and keeps its data in
statev2.sqlite. Swarmail still carried code for the old engine: a fallback to the oldstate.sqlitedatabase, old-format SQL queries, and at3-v1-steerwake target that posted to a route current T3 no longer has. None of it can work against a current T3 install, so this removes it.What changes:
statev2.sqlite. While T3 is still creating that file on its first start and it has no thread tables yet, Swarmail sees no threads, andpr-sessionssays "local T3 store has no thread tables yet".t3-v1-steerwake target is gone. A configuration that still names it fails when it loads, with: "target type t3-v1-steer was removed: current T3 Code runs only its V2 engine, which has no V1 route; use t3-v2-queue".t3-v1-steerconfiguration fails at load and names its replacement.Checks:
bun run checkpasses, andbun testgives 1295 pass, 7 skip, 0 fail.Summary by cubic
Removes the
t3-v1-steerwake target and all T3 Code V1 store support. Current T3 Code runs only its V2 engine, so the old bridge failed its thread check and could never deliver.statev2.sqlite; a store T3 is still creating has no thread tables yet, sopr-sessionsreports that instead of "T3 V1 is unsupported".t3-v1-steerfail at load with a message directing them tot3-v2-queue. A bridge switching targets must stop the old bridge and discard its saved state, which binds to the old destination, before starting it again.Written for commit 0408443. Summary will update on new commits.
Summary by CodeRabbit
t3-v1-steerwake target is no longer supported. Configurations using it fail at startup; switch tot3-v2-queue.pr-sessionsexits with an error.
