Fixes the follow-up regression found after PR #100.
When a user selects UnitN, discovers or edits a printer, and presses Activate, the current GUI state must be persisted in both places:
Unit0 through Unit7 remain independent; activation still never overwrites another Unit profile. This is a small follow-up to #100 and keeps the 1.3.3 architecture unchanged.
