Welcome to the DJDB wiki!
DJDB is intended to extend an Ampache database for use with the DJRQ request site. However, the initial release only supports creating a new database with the added tables needed for DJRQ.
Under Edit you will see Upgrade Database for DJRQ as an option now.
This will add additional tables that will be required for DJRQ to work.
These extra tables will not affect IDJC at all, it simply ignores those tables. The same is true for Ampache, except once you add the new tables you probably will not be able to update Ampache to a new version. Since updating Ampache may break IDJC's access to Ampache, it's probably a bad idea to do that anyways.
