I think it would be interesting to add certain broken records to various loot tables to encourage making your own tracks with the mod and make less viable disc types more accesible. The choice of broken records means they still have to be repaired first to be used, which can be easier due to the glue recipes.
Some example ideas:
- Stone: Monster Room, Jungle Temple
- Gold: Ruined Portal, Mineshaft
- Emerald: Woodland Mansion, Pillager Outpost
- Diamond: Buried Treasure, Ancient City
- Netherite: Bastion
- Brass: Nether Fortress, Trial Chambers
I do think there is also merit in only doing this for a few discs, rather than all of them, so that the better ones aren't easily findable and so that the worse ones can be experienced earlier in the game as the point in progression when you can normally craft these means that you likely have the resources to go straight to diamond or brass. A balanced implementation might only allow Stone, Emerald, maybe Netherite (since its expensive) to spawn naturally
