What this crate is

bext-css is a Rust-native implementation of the Tailwind v4 CSS generator. It scans your source files, extracts class names, and generates a minimal CSS bundle — without requiring Node.js, PostCSS, or the upstream Tailwind toolchain.

Built on encre-css.

Why?

Tailwind v4 changed its architecture to use a native bundler. bext-css gives you the same output format in a crate that integrates directly with bext's build pipeline — no subprocess, no extra build step.
