Stop re-uploading revised Markdown to ChatGPT Project Sources.
Create a newer .md with the same filename, click Publish, and PSP updates the same Google Drive file and refreshes the established Project Source.
First-time setup is guided. After that, each matching revision takes one Publish.
Install from Microsoft Edge Add-ons · Browse the source
v0.3.3 · Microsoft Edge Add-ons listing is live and public · Official Store-installed production flow human-verified
Current Store-installed v0.3.3 recording: a same-name revision is published, then a fresh Chat reads the updated Source.
Without PSP, each revision can mean downloading Markdown, replacing the Drive file, returning to Project Sources, refreshing, and checking the result. After a Source is connected once, PSP handles the same-name update path:
new plan.md → Publish → same Drive file → refreshed Project Source
The filename must match exactly. PSP updates the established Drive file; it does not create a new Source for a renamed file.
You need a ChatGPT Project with access to Drive-backed Sources. Ordinary chats are not supported.
- In a Project conversation, generate the Markdown file you want to publish. Keep the relevant
.mdfile loaded and visible in the latest assistant response with file attachments;.txtfiles do not qualify as Markdown sources. - Open PSP and choose Publish. Complete the Google Drive authorization.
- For each file, copy the Drive link shown by PSP. In the Project's Sources, choose Add source → Google Drive, paste that link, then choose Add. This is a one-time manual connection for each Source.
- Use the same Google account for PSP's Drive authorization and the Project's Google Drive Source connection, so the file is visible to that Project.
- Return to PSP and continue as prompted. PSP shows Published ✓ only when it has sufficient confirmation of the Source update. A file saved to Drive without that confirmation is not a confirmed publication.
- Generate the next Markdown revision with the exact same filename in the same Project.
- Keep it loaded and visible in the latest assistant response with file attachments, then choose Publish.
- PSP updates the same Drive file identity and refreshes the established Project Source. You do not repeat the one-time Add source connection.
- PSP uses the latest loaded, visible assistant response containing file attachments and handles 1–10 Markdown files from that response. It does not combine files across responses or search the full conversation history. If that latest attachment-bearing response contains only non-Markdown files, PSP does not fall back to older Markdown files.
- Exact filename means exact Source. A new or changed filename is not automatically added during refresh. PSP does not rename, delete, merge, split, or manage arbitrary files.
- An existing chat may still use Source content it loaded earlier. After a refresh, ask that chat to re-read the Source or start a fresh chat in the same Project when you need the latest revision.
- Google authorization may be requested again if Edge suspends and restarts the extension's background worker.
- A Drive save and a confirmed Project Source update are different states. On first-time Add, PSP may report that the file was saved while final Source confirmation is unavailable. That is neither proof of failure nor a confirmed publication.
- Loading an arbitrary unpacked Git clone is not a supported Google OAuth installation path. Use the official Edge Add-ons listing.
- The workflow depends on the ChatGPT interface and session behavior; it is not an official OpenAI API integration. Interface or policy changes may affect it. Chrome Web Store distribution is deferred and has not been published.
PSP runs in your browser with no developer backend, telemetry, advertising, or remotely loaded code. Selected Markdown is sent to your Google Drive at your request. Google access uses only the drive.file scope, not full-Drive access. The Privacy Policy explains the data handling and local retention details.

If PSP saves you the repeated download / replace / refresh loop, a ⭐ helps other ChatGPT Project users find it. Star the repository.
